“All men will end up in a grave, and all men were born, but what happens in between is the story that is difficult to tell”. In Lakka, a picturesque beach in Sierra Leone, five villagers contemplate on the most profound moments of their lives, and tell stories about the ocean and the land, about war, love and hope. With beautiful cinematography and a gentle pace, this is as intimate documentary about life after war.
