A Screaming Man

Set against a backdrop of the ongoing civil war in Chad, the film charts the rivalry between Adam (Youssouf Djaoro), a former swimming champion, and his son Abdel (Diouc Koma). Rich, sensual, heartbreaking, and studded with Haroun’s characteristic subtle humour, this is a new take on themes that run through Haroun’s oeuvre – war, fatherhood, and family life.
